Nice to meet you!
My journey into lactation consulting began as a Registered Nurse (RN) working in Maternal and Child Health. Over the past 15 years, I have had the pleasure of working with hundreds of families in hospitals, homes, and communities.
I became a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) in 2008 while working with the Nurse Family Partnership program in Queens, NY. As a public health nurse, I saw firsthand how challenging feeding a baby can be, and I wanted to help others navigate that journey with confidence. In 2010, I completed my IBCLC and interned with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. I worked on multiple breastfeeding initiatives as part of my Masters in Public Health (MPH) program. In 2013, I started a lactation private practice in Queens, which has since been relocated to the mid-Hudson Valley.
My career as a lactation consultant is a natural progression of a life-long commitment to service. I am deeply committed to improving health equity and maternity care in the United States.
I have experience working in the hospital setting with families feeding their babies hours after birth as well as in the NICU.
